Your Wedding Cake

As soon as you contact Sam you will start an exciting journey in the creation of your individually designed wedding cake.  You will be guided every step of the way.  We offer consultations via Zoom or WhatsApp, out of wedding season (Oct-Apr),  and booking one couldn’t be easier just click here to find a suitable date and time. As part of the booking you will receive a selection of five of our seasonal favourite cake tasters, although we do have a wider choice of flavours for you to choose from for your wedding cake.  If your wedding is during the current season then email me here to check my availability and we can arrange a consultation, unfortunately due to wedding cake bookings, I am unable to send out tasters during this time.  We will take you from an initial meeting through the creative process, finishing with a stunning cake delivered to your venue.

During our consultation we will discuss your ideas, your likes/dislikes and interests.  This could be through images you have found, your colour palette, jewellery, season, theme or anything that is personal to you.  If you don’t know where to start don’t panic, Sam is there to inspire and create ideas from getting to know you.  We will also gather information about your venue, and any other contacts we may need and of course discuss any allergens or dietary requirements you are aware of.

Not only do we look at the design of your cake but we will also consider how your cake is to be displayed – what kind of stand would suit your cake?  The venue’s stand or maybe you want something a bit different.  Either way we will ensure your cake is looking amazing!

At this point, we will take a deposit to secure the date in our diary.  By paying the deposit you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. A design is then drawn up especially for you.  We will liaise with your venue to make sure everything is perfect.  Want us to meet with other suppliers to ensure everyone is joined up?  No problem we can do this.  At 8 weeks prior to your wedding, we will check with you that everything is still ok and there are no further design changes. The balance is due at this stage, and you can now sit back and enjoy your wedding in full confidence that your cake will be delivered for you and become part of the most memorable day of your life.
